Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager for a high-volume surgical unit in a Level One Trauma Center. You will lead a team, coordinate patient care, and ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include supervising 30-35 staff, scheduling, performance reviews, care plans, documentation compliance, and budget participation. An RN with a BSN and 2-5 years of experience, with supervisory exposure, is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and evaluating approximately 30-35 staff members, including hiring, training, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
• Managing staff scheduling, conducting interviews, and ensuring productivity aligns with departmental goals.
• Overseeing patient care, creating collaborative care plans, and ensuring documentation compliance.
• Participating in budget development and maintaining adherence to financial targets.
• Supporting staff development and fostering a safe, efficient work environment.
