Job summary

Compunetix, a leading electronics manufacturer, is seeking an Operations Planner in Pittsburgh. You will support new product sales lead times, enter orders, maintain ERP/MRP data, create shop orders, and monitor material availability to keep on-time delivery.

Requirements include a BS in a technical field, 0–3 years of related experience, proficiency with Word, Excel and Visio, and strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

BS degree in a technical discipline.
Experience with ERP/MRP data entry and manufacturing planning.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Operations Planner with new product sales lead times and order tracking information.
Support entering new customer orders and maintaining ERP/MRP data.
Shop order creation and releasing work orders.
Monitoring material availability including long lead parts.
Production scheduling of customer orders.
Assist with forecasting material needs.
Tracking schedule performance and on-time delivery.
Generating production reports.
