Job summary

The position involves leading MRP-related activities, coordinating with purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and sales, and providing timely lead time estimates for quotes. Must be US citizen and clearable.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a technical discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience managing some level of an electronics assembly process.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.

We are currently seeking an Operations Planner to work with production to manage customer order builds and assist with and manage new system configurations.

Responsibilities:

• Review and prioritize customer orders
• Provide lead time estimates for the sales team to use for new quotes
• Validate requested delivery dates for new orders
• Review of new order entry for completeness and configuration accuracy
• Establish the production schedule
• Update customers on ship dates and order tracking information
• Create and maintain production schedules balancing resource workloads
• Lead MRP (Material Requirements Planning) meetings
• Monitor inventory and material shortages, coordinate long-lead components.
• Coordinate with purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and sales
• Communicate and coordinate schedule changes and risks to management

Requirements:

• BS degree in a technical discipline
• 2-5 years’ experience managing some level of an electronics assembly process
• Experience Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, and Visio
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
