Job summary

Velocity Flex is seeking a detail-oriented Planner to plan and schedule manufacturing processes for large industrial power electronics equipment. The role entails coordinating production tasks, validating build plans with management, and monitoring inventory to support on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years in production planning within an assembly environment, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent through education and/or experience.
• 2+ years of production planning experience in an assembly production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills with internal and external partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and an ERP system.
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally up to 5%.

What You’ll Do

• Plan production tasks and schedules based on client orders and coordinate activities to improve runtime
• Develop, review, and adjust assembly build plans with management to meet production goals
• Monitor inventory levels, report material availability, and produce shortage reports in collaboration with Procurement and Warehouse
• Review capacity demands, issue materials/parts requisitions, and release manufacturing work orders to the warehouse
• Update scheduling spreadsheets, production charts, and utilize the ERP system to generate assembly work orders
