Opportunity: Assistant Operations Manager

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Operations Manager skilled in creating efficient systems and managing people to exceed client expectations. This role is vital as we scale to meet high demand while maintaining our brand and culture standards.

Role (Duties):

This role involves:

• Field Leadership (70%) - Manage daily crew activities and lead successful moving projects, setting performance examples.
• Crew Management (10%) - Manage, coach, and mentor field staff.
• Operations & Logistics (15%) - Oversee daily operations, scheduling, estimates, and site surveys.
• Culture Leadership (5%) - Embody and promote our core values in field operations.

This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and supervises 25+ personnel.

Goals:

1. Increase crew lead insurance sales to 32% or higher.
2. Reduce damage claim rate to 5% or lower.
3. Maintain a 42% or higher customer 5-star review ratio.
4. Achieve 90% materials accountability and sales across all moves.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will:

• Be team-oriented, hardworking, self-motivated, with field leadership experience and the ability to hold teams accountable.
• Be bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Have experience in assertive people management and proactive delegation, especially with entry-level staff.
• Demonstrate a focus on personal improvement and ongoing learning.
• Industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Compensation:

Base pay of $27/hr - $32/hr, DOE, plus tips (~$4/hr), performance bonuses (~$2/hr), and the benefits listed above.
