Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Operations is a key part of the store leadership team, responsible for ensuring smooth and successful retail operations. This role manages business enablers such as financials, P&L, budget, expenses, and vendor relationships. It also oversees inventory, supplies, technology, facilities, scheduling, payroll, and administrative activities, and executes company initiatives at the store level.

Core Responsibilities
Operations, Product, and Strategy
  • Implement and communicate the Store Manager’s Operations vision.
  • Prepare weekly team schedules considering labor needs, availability, and budget.
  • Assess and respond to business needs on the retail floor.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, P&L, expenses, and support planning processes.
  • Lead retail floor operations and ensure inventory accuracy and efficient delivery management.
  • Execute operational directives and initiatives from corporate levels.
  • Maintain safety policies and comply with laws and regulations.
Leadership and People
  • Create an inclusive, respectful, and supportive team environment.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as payroll, time-off, and shift approvals.
  • Identify team growth needs and support personal and professional development.
Guest Experience and Community
  • Ensure seamless guest experiences across all channels.
  • Address guest feedback and resolve issues promptly.
Budget Responsibility

Manage delegated aspects of the store’s budget and labor hours.

People Management

Support store employees indirectly as delegated by the Store Manager.

Job Requirements
Eligibility
  • Legal authorization to work in the store’s country
  • Reliable transportation for travel to the store
Schedule/Availability
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Experience
  • At least 1 year managing business operations, scheduling, and projects
Assets (Preferred but not required)
  • High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Retail management experience is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Base pay: $23.19 - $31.38/hr, with a target bonus of 25%, total range $28.99 - $39.23/hr. Benefits include health, dental, mental health, paid time off, retirement matching, discounts, fitness classes, parental support, development programs, mentorship, and leadership series. Eligibility for benefits varies; company reserves rights to modify offerings.
