We have an opportunity for a full-time Assistant Operations Manager skilled in creating efficient systems and managing people to exceed client expectations. This role is vital to help us scale while maintaining our brand and culture standards.

Role (Duties)

This role will perform the following functions regularly:

  1. Field Leadership (70%) - Manage daily activities of crews, lead project completion, and set performance examples.
  2. Crew Management (10%) - Manage, teach, coach, and mentor staff.
  3. Operations & Logistics (15%) - Oversee daily operations, manage scheduling, and conduct site surveys.
  4. Culture Leadership (5%) - Promote core values and set an example in the field.

This role reports to the Operations Manager and supervises 25+ personnel.

Goals

The ideal candidate will:

  • Increase Crew Lead insurance sales ratio to 32% or better.
  • Reduce damage claim rate to 5% or better.
  • Maintain a 5-star review ratio of 42%.
  • Increase materials accountability and sales to 90% of all moves.

Qualifications

  • Team-oriented, hardworking, self-motivated with field leadership experience.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in leadership, managing people proactively.
  • Focus on personal improvement and continuous learning.
  • Moving industry experience is a plus but not required; training provided.

Compensation

Base pay of $27/hr - $32/hr, DOE, plus tips (~$4/hr), bonuses (~$2/hr), and benefits.
