Join us at our Cocoa Bridge location as an Assistant Operations Facility Director. This role is crucial in supporting our clients' success. We seek individuals with strong leadership skills and a passion for inspiring and helping others. The ideal candidate will perform the following responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:

1. Assist the Director in overseeing assigned projects.
2. Receive training from the Facility Director on budgets, Children & Families Services licensure and monitoring, and Department of Corrections regulations.
3. Assist in monitoring all contracts.
4. Attend all Department Head meetings.
5. Conduct weekly progress meetings with the Facility Director.
6. Assist in evaluating Department Heads.
7. Conduct monthly Department Head meetings as needed.
8. Ensure adherence to all applicable policies and procedures.
9. Assist in overseeing facility maintenance and inspections.
10. In the absence of the Facility Director, assume all administrative responsibilities.
11. Assist in overseeing the administrative team and food service.
12. Supervise operations staff if no Operations Supervisor is available.
13. Inspect the facility grounds weekly and document findings.
14. Submit staff Food Reviews to the corporate office.
15. Use the company's time and attendance system to clock in and out.
16. Perform major job functions with or without accommodations.
17. Attend all mandatory training sessions.
18. Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
19. Report all Workers Compensation injuries and breaches of policy or ethics to supervisors or HR.
20. Report unsafe conditions immediately.
21. Demonstrate organizational abilities and good communication skills for promotion eligibility.
22. Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Director.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of experience managing services for residents, offenders, or inmates in the criminal justice system.

• Alternatively, five (5) years of supervisory experience in delivering services to residents, offenders, or inmates can substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.

• At least two (2) years of experience in a therapeutic community setting.

Note: Education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis as necessary.
