We are seeking a results-driven Dental Assistant Office Manager who is people-oriented, has a proven track record for exceeding expectations, and possesses excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in a collaborative team environment that values feedback.

As a Dental Assistant Office Manager, your responsibilities will include managing daily business office activities such as patient and employee relations, marketing and communications, scheduling follow-up appointments, submitting dental claims, verifying insurance, and supporting the Practice Manager to achieve overall goals. This role requires occasional travel to sister offices in the South Denver Colorado metro area.

The Dental Assistant Office Manager will report directly to the Regional Manager and play a key role in setting the tone when the Practice Manager is absent. We are a dentist-led, team-centric family practice dedicated to providing the best working environment in Denver. The position offers growth opportunities into an Office Manager role and is ideal for someone passionate about people and professional development.

This full-time position works Monday through Friday, offering a competitive hourly wage, a comprehensive benefits package, growth and professional development opportunities, a bonus plan, travel reimbursement, and more.

  • Assist in managing daily operations of the dental office.
  • Travel to other locations in Northern Colorado as needed.
  • Support staff with assignments and activities following office policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, legislation, and regulations.
  • Manage and update office computer systems and patient management software.
  • Oversee patient relations and handle complaints in the absence of the Practice Manager.
  • Explain office policies to patients.
  • Support staff with scheduling, collections, insurance, etc.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction through surveys.

Qualifications include at least 1 year of experience in a dental front office, leadership experience, insurance verification knowledge, patient scheduling experience, financial skills, and a team-oriented personality. Ability to travel and work full-time (up to 40 hours/week) is required. Dental front office leadership experience and familiarity with Denticon software are preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college is preferred. Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset are essential.
