We are seeking a results-driven Dental Assistant Office Manager who is people-oriented, has a proven track record of exceeding expectations, and possesses excellent communication skills along with a strong desire to work in a collaborative team environment that provides consistent feedback.

As a Dental Assistant Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the business office, including patient and employee relations; overseeing marketing and communication efforts; scheduling follow-up appointments; submitting dental insurance claims; verifying patient insurance; and assisting the Practice Manager in achieving overall results. This role may require occasional travel to sister offices in the South Denver Colorado metro area.

The Dental Assistant Office Manager will report directly to the Regional Manager and play a key role in setting the tone when the Practice Manager is unavailable. You will be a vital resource in helping us uphold our core value of prioritizing our patients' and staff's experience. We are a dentist-led, team-centric family practice dedicated to being the best office to work for in the Denver area. Essential Functions
  • Assist in managing daily operations of the dental office.
  • Travel to other locations in the Northern Colorado area as needed.
  • Support staff assignments and activities following office policies and applicable laws.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations.
  • Stay current with trends, legislation, and regulations in the dental industry.
  • Manage and update office computer systems and patient management software.
  • Oversee patient relations and address patient complaints in the absence of the practice manager.
  • Explain office policies to patients.
  • Support staff with tasks such as appointment scheduling, collections, insurance processing, etc.
  • Monitor patient satisfaction through regular surveys.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in a dental front office setting.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance verification.
  • Experience with patient scheduling, check-in/out procedures.
  • Understanding of treatment planning and financial processes, including co-pays, balances, and financing options like Care Credit.
  • Team-oriented personality capable of working in various office environments.
  • Ability to travel and work full-time, up to 40 hours per week.
Supervisory Responsibility

Assist with supervisory responsibilities under the oversight of the Practice Manager, Regional Manager, or VP of Operations.

Work Environment

General dental front office setting.

Education and Experience
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a patient-facing role. High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Ability to travel within the South Denver Colorado market as needed.
  • Dental front office leadership experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including word processing, insurance claims, and records management; Denticon experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player with customer service or patient relations experience.
Pay Range

USD $24.00 - USD $28.00 per hour.
