The Trauma Associate Nurse Manager provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of St. Mary's Medical Center and Palm Beach Children's Hospital Trauma Service Line. In collaboration with the Trauma Program Director and Trauma Medical Director, the ANM oversees the trauma resuscitation nurses’ assessment, plans, implementations, evaluations, and coordinates treatment plans for patients in trauma resuscitation. The ANM demonstrates strong trauma clinical assessment, nursing intervention, and strong communication/leadership skills. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Trauma ANM provides trauma service line support.
