Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager for the Nights shift to coordinate nursing operations and lead a dedicated team to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.

The role requires a Florida RN license with BSN preferred, BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications, and 2–3 years of RN clinical experience. The position includes a $15,000 SOB bonus paid over 24 months where eligible.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida.
• BSN preferred and CPR/BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Basic EKG course completion required.
• Certifications in relevant clinical areas preferred.
• 2–3 years RN experience in a clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical activities within the department using strong clinical judgment.
• Directly and indirectly supervise care rendered by department staff.
• Collaborate with the health care team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Assume house supervision duties as assigned.

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the Department and collaborates with other members of the health care team. She/he directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all department staff members. She/he assumes house supervision duties as assigned.
