Nazareth Home is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Rehab Unit at our Highlands campus in Louisville, KY. This salaried role involves supervising nursing care, coordinating training, and working closely with the unit manager and director of nursing to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will be a Kentucky-licensed RN with current BLS, at least one year of charge nurse experience in long-term care, and a willingness to lead nursing programs and problem-solving efforts within the

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current BLS CPR certification (BLS).
• One year minimum of experience as a charge nurse in a Long Term Care setting, preferred.
• IV Therapy course, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide quality nursing care within the Rehab unit.
• Coordinate nursing and training programs in the unit.
• Recognize and help solve professional, administrative and supervisory problems.
• Observe results and adjust practices as needed.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO

As the RN (registered nurse) assistant unit manager you will be responsible for the supervision and provision of quality nursing care given within the Rehab unit. You will closely with the unit manager and the director of nursing. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality and adequacy of nursing practice; for coordinating nursing and training programs; for recognizing and assisting in solving professional, administrative and supervisory problems. observation of results obtained.

THESE ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Licensed by the Kentucky Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
• Current BLS CPR certification (BLS)
• One year minimum of experience as a charge nurse in a Long Term Care setting, preferred
• IV Therapy course, preferred
• License/Certification: RN (Registered Nurse); CPR certification (BLS)

Work Hours

• Full time Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30p
• Salaried position
• Nursing On-Call Rotation required
