Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital seeks a Nurse Supervisor for the Operating Room. In collaboration with the nurse manager, you will supervise staff, coordinate unit operations and provide direct patient care.

This role requires maintaining professional nursing standards and ensuring safe, high-quality care across shifts. You will lead staffing, scheduling, admissions, discharges and transfers, support staff development, participate in quality improvement and regulatory tasks, and

Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Experience - Two (2) years of RN experience in related area of nursing. Management/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversees a variety of patient care activities on the unit to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Provides direct patient care consistent with the charge nurse/clinical RN duties (>50% of time).
• Coordinates admissions, discharges and transfers and ensures smooth transitions of care between shifts.
• Mentors/coaches staff, supports new staff orientation, and maintains staff competency documentation.
• Assists Nurse Manager with budgeting, resource utilization and performance management.
• Participates in quality improvement activities and regulatory compliance for the unit.
