HSHS Medical Group is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for the General OR at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL. The role leads nursing staff, helps develop workflows, and ensures high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

The position requires IL RN licensure, a BSN is preferred, and a minimum of two years in acute care with leadership experience. BLS is required; ACLS may be necessary for certain duties. Evening shift with occasional weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher required for licensure in the state of practice; RN licensure in IL required.
• BSN preferred for this leadership role.
• Two years RN experience in an acute setting is required.
• Two years in a charge/lead nurse or related role preferred.

Develops general workflows for department/unit and prepares timely operational reports. Develops and administers proper protocols for department and/or unit. Assists in the direct supervision of unit and staff. Is a champion for patient care. Collaborates with other care team providers to assure team provides excellence in patient care. Position Specifics: Department: General OR Core Function: Leadership Schedule: Evening Shift; 3pm to 11pm; Monday - Friday; every 5th weekend rotation on days from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm.
