Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) seeks a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Multispecialty Care team in Springfield, IL. This night shift (7pm-7am), 36 hrs/wk, at St John’s Hospital, offers hands-on bedside nursing and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates are mission-driven and patient-focused, with RN licensure, BLS, and a nursing degree. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available to qualified applicants.

• RN licensure in state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions.
