Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to lead nursing teams and support the organizational nursing strategic plan. You will collaborate with Nurse leadership, coordinate staffing, and drive quality outcomes to improve patient care.

The ANM will supervise front-line staff, participate in decision-making, and ensure through-put, safety, and staff development align with the hospital's mission and values.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or diploma of Nursing required.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three years of hire.
• Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in respective specialty.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and unit scheduling to meet patient needs.
• Support throughput, quality and safety outcomes.
• Ensure staff competency and ongoing education.
• Oversee hiring and clinical/staff corrective actions.
• Promote unit efficiency and high standard of patient care.
