Optalis Healthcare in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing—Staff Development. This on-site role reports to the Director of Nursing and oversees education, infection control, quality assurance, and admissions screening to support resident well-being.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, with 2 years of direct long-term care experience and prior supervisory work. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active RN license in practicing state without restrictions.
• Two years of direct resident care experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Prior supervisory or Unit Charge Nurse experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Implement nursing policies and procedures reflecting the facility’s mission and philosophy.
• Conduct education, infection control, quality assurance and admissions screening as assigned.
• Supervise licensed nurses and other nursing personnel per resident assessments and care plans.
• Coordinate timely admission contract completion and maintain census goals.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
