Job summary

Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo is seeking an Assistant Golf Shop Merchandiser/Buyer to aid the Golf Shop Manager in running a retail operation the membership is proud of.

You will greet Members and Guests, assist shoppers, answer questions, place orders, manage displays, and help with quarterly inventory. A flexible schedule including holidays and weekends is required as part of Golf Operations.

Qualifications

• Greet Members and Guests with a friendly manner and provide assistance while shopping.
• Provide friendly service to Members and Guests during check-in for a round of Golf.

Responsibilities

• Greet Members and Guests in a friendly manner when they enter the Golf Shop.
• Provide assistance to Members and Guests while they are shopping or checking in for a round of Golf.
• Answer merchandise-related questions asked by Members or Guests while they are shopping.
• Answer Golf Shop phone calls to book tee times and answer merchandise or golf-related questions.
• Place and track special orders for members and guests through Golf Genius Golf Shop.
• Generate purchase orders through Eatec to aid Retail Receiving Team to properly receive stock orders.
• Monitor sales floor and communicate with Merchandiser to place fill orders as needed.
• Consistently fill and fold merchandise on the sales floor to maintain an organized appearance and fully stocked.
• Maintain organization in the Golf Shop storeroom and put away merchandise once dropped off by the Receiving Warehouse.
• Assist Golf Shop Manager to design new merchandise displays and bring new collections onto the sales floor.
• Execute and assist Golf Shop team to complete Inventory on a quarterly basis.
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service to all members and guests to create a positive retail experience the moment they enter the Golf Shop.

Ocean Reef Club, an exclusive, private residential community and resort club located on 2,500 tropical acres at the northernmost tip of Key Largo in the Florida Keys, is seeking an Assistant Golf Shop Merchandiser/Buyer to aid Golf Shop Manager to run a retail operation the membership is proud of.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the following duties and responsibilities, attending all communication meetings or daily line-ups is a requirement of the Golf Operations team. Must be able to work a changing schedule, holidays and weekends.
