Kids for the Future seeks a Golf Shop Associate for our Boynton Beach private club to deliver an exceptional member shopping experience. You will help with merchandise selection, sizing, and purchases while keeping the shop organized and well merchandised.

Required is retail or golf shop experience, strong communication, and a professional appearance suitable for a luxury club environment. This is a part-time on-site role with $20/hour base pay.

Description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Golf Shop Associate plays a key role in delivering an exceptional member shopping experience while maintaining the appearance, organization, and merchandising standards of the Golf Shop. This position assists members with merchandise selection, product information, sizing, and purchases while ensuring the shop remains organized, fully stocked, and presented to the highest standards expected in a premier private club environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a warm, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Assist members with merchandise selection, sizing, special orders, and product recommendations.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of golf shop merchandise, brands, promotions, and inventory.
  • Support sales efforts by creating a welcoming shopping experience and identifying member needs.
  • Build positive relationships with members while delivering personalized service.
  • Maintain exceptional visual presentation throughout the golf shop at all times.
  • Ensure merchandise is neatly displayed, fully stocked, and properly sized.
  • Keep all apparel organized by size, style, color, and brand according to merchandising standards.
  • Maintain consistent hanger direction and presentation throughout the shop.
  • Replenish merchandise as needed and communicate low-stock situations to management.
  • Assist with floor moves, new merchandise displays, and seasonal merchandising updates.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment at all times.
  • Keep fitting rooms, displays, shelving, and storage areas orderly and presentable.
  • Ensure merchandise is returned to its proper location throughout the day.
  • Monitor shop appearance continuously and address any areas requiring attention.
  • Support inventory counts and stockroom organization.
Qualifications
  • Previous retail, customer service, hospitality, or golf shop experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while taking initiative.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a luxury private club environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift merchandise throughout the workday.
Success in This Role

A successful Assistant Merchandiser takes pride in creating an exceptional member experience and understands that every detail matters. The shop should be clean, organized, fully merchandised, and member-ready at all times, with merchandise presented to the highest standards of a premier private club.

Licenses or Certificates
  • AED / CPR certification is recommended.

Must be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs. However, in most cases the involve lifting will be up to 15 pounds.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands/arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.

Normal vision and hearing ranges required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision and ability to adjust focus.

The Golf Shop Associate must be able to work indoors and outside, as several hours are required in each area.

Grooming

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (Specific standards are available).
