GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to help lead a fast-paced convenience store in Newberry, SC. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach staff, and help with hiring, training, and daily operations to ensure excellent customer service.

The role requires open availability for weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts. Growth opportunities from store leadership to management are available, with pay around market rates and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Must be 18+ years old and have reliable transportation.
• Proficiency in English and basic math skills.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide leadership that motivates the team to excel.
