Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our convenience store in South Carolina. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, train and lead a customer-service oriented team, and manage schedules and store operations across shifts.

This role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, with focus on second or third shifts. A Food Safety Certification is required or obtainable, and weekly pay with a chance for growth are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+
• Proficient in English with basic math skills
• Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
