GPM Investments, LLC seeks an Assistant Manager to help run our high-energy convenience store in Burgaw, NC. You’ll support the Store Manager, supervise a team, handle cash, and ensure customer service excellence on every shift.

Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is required. You’ll train staff, manage stock, and step in as acting manager when needed, with a clear path to store leadership and career growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age 21+ years old.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Willing to learn and grow into store leadership.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to stay stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and manage team schedules.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
