Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort seeks a Talent Acquisition leader to oversee the recruitment pipeline and drive strategies across divisions. The role collaborates with Hiring Managers, Compensation, HRBP, Records, and safety teams to optimize staffing and reporting.

A strong track record in high-volume hiring and people leadership is required. This on-site position in Orlando offers growth within a large hospitality org and a focus on data-driven staffing solutions and continuous process improvements

• 3+ years in talent acquisition/recruitment with supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruitment strategies for short-term and long-term needs; monitor TA progress and industry trends.
• Build effective pipeline strategies and coach TA team for service levels.
• Partner with Hiring Managers, Records, Compensation, HRBP to improve processes and report metrics.
• Implement advertising strategies; provide administrative and reporting support.
• Maintain open communication with department leaders on employment issues and staffing needs.
• Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per UO policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Oversees the Talent Acquisition Function; responsible for the ongoing employment process of assigned division or business unit within Universal Orlando Resort.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop recruiting strategies for short-term and long-term business needs for assigned division or workstream within Universal Orlando Resort (UOR); continuously monitor Talent Acquisition progress against Business Analytics, Finance, and business demand; determine alternate recruitment avenues to support assigned area; identify and leverage industry trends; assist in sourcing niche markets; utilize established recruitment metrics to help drive, support, and report business needs.
• Develop effective pipeline strategies for internal and external talent pools; utilize existing and developing reporting tools to assist in leveraging internal talent benches against internal recruitment and managing external talent benches for effective placement of pipeline talent; manage and coach TA team for effective levels of service and support for internal and external recruitment functions.
• Partner with Hiring Managers, Records, Compensation, Investigations, Talent Development, and HRBP teams to identify process improvement. Manage systems, processes, metrics, and statistics of staffing functions and communicate these clearly to direct leadership and all internal stakeholders.
• Implement advertising strategies; in partnership with larger TA team and TA leadership identify gaps in business needs; provide administrative and reporting support to direct leadership
• Maintain open communication with department leaders regarding employment issues; build relationships with leaders across the resort to support in meeting staffing requirements.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of high-volume recruitment, interviewing, selection processes required.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business preferred.

EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years talent acquisition/recruitment experience, inclusive of 3+ years of supervisory experience, required;
• or equivalent combination of education and experience.
