Job summary

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a Talent Acquisition leader to oversee the Talent Acquisition Function for the assigned division, managing the ongoing employment process within the resort.

The role requires developing strategies, driving recruitment pipelines, and partnering with multiple HR and business leaders to meet staffing needs across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruiting strategies for short-term and long-term business needs for assigned division or workstream within Universal Orlando Resort; monitor TA progress against business analytics and demand; identify alternate recruitment avenues and industry trends.
• Develop effective pipeline strategies for internal and external talent pools; leverage internal talent benches against external recruitment; coach TA team for service levels.
• Partner with Hiring Managers, Records, Compensation, Investigations, Talent Development, and HRBP teams to identify process improvements; manage systems, metrics, and statistics of staffing functions and communicate to leadership.
• Implement advertising strategies; identify gaps in business needs; provide administrative and reporting support to direct leadership
• Maintain communication with department leaders regarding employment issues; build relationships with leaders across the resort to meet staffing requirements.
• Understands and participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities per UO policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

Oversees the Talent Acquisition Function; responsible for the ongoing employment process of assigned division or business unit within Universal Orlando Resort.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop recruiting strategies for short-term and long-term business needs for assigned division or workstream within Universal Orlando Resort (UOR); continuously monitor Talent Acquisition progress against Business Analytics, Finance, and business demand; determine alternate recruitment avenues to support assigned area; identify and leverage industry trends; assist in sourcing niche markets; utilize established recruitment metrics to help drive, support, and report business needs.
• Develop effective pipeline strategies for internal and external talent pools; utilize existing and developing reporting tools to assist in leveraging internal talent benches against internal recruitment and managing external talent benches for effective placement of pipeline talent; manage and coach TA team for effective levels of service and support for internal and external recruitment functions.
• Partner with Hiring Managers, Records, Compensation, Investigations, Talent Development, and HRBP teams to identify process improvement. Manage systems, processes, metrics, and statistics of staffing functions and communicate these clearly to direct leadership and all internal stakeholders.
• Implement advertising strategies; in partnership with larger TA team and TA leadership identify gaps in business needs; provide administrative and reporting support to direct leadership
• Maintain open communication with department leaders regarding employment issues; build relationships with leaders across the resort to support in meeting staffing requirements.
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3+ years talent acquisition/recruitment experience, inclusive of 3+ years of supervisory experience, required;
• or equivalent combination of education and experience.
