Job summary

Buckle in Alexandria, LA is seeking an Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and Leadership Team in driving sales and guest experience. The role blends sales, merchandising, and operations with responsibilities including training Teammates and leading in the Manager's absence.

The position offers a clear progression from the AIT level, with higher duties and accountability in leadership, customer service, and daily store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude, and is consistently prepared to provide legendary service to each Guest
• Coach and create relationships through Guest Loyalty and Guest Preferred
• Plan sales goals with Store Manager
• Execute actions from department calendars and track on the Weekly Delegation Worksheet
• Maintain and build good Guest relationships to develop a client based business
• Lead by example with a high level of showmanship, excellent customer service and attentiveness
• Assist Store Manager in Recruitment of all store staffing needs
• Understand how to explain pay and Buckle Benefits
• Execution/training on Leadership playbook
• Own and influence product through zone ownership, exhibiting the ability to recognize and assign Zones and projects to Teammates daily with a specific learning goal in mind
