Job summary

Rent-A-Center in Owosso, MI is hiring a Sales Assistant Manager. You will drive sales growth through completed rental agreements and prospecting new customers while delivering white-glove service.

You will manage deliveries, pickups, merchandising, and in-home installations, ensuring a safe, compliant, and inviting store environment.

Minimum requirements include 1-3 years in retail or sales, high school diploma, 18+, valid driver’s license, strong communication, and ability to lift items.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail/customer service, sales, or collections experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age; valid state driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to lift and move products such as furniture, electronics, and appliances.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales: drive growth through rental agreements and new customer acquisition.
• Customer Service: deliver friendly, top-notch experiences with a white-glove approach.
• Deliveries & Pickups: safely load/unload and install products at in-store and in-home locations.
• Merchandising: maintain an inviting, clean, and organized store environment.
