Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store in Gillham, AR. You will support daily operations, supervise a team, and ensure outstanding customer service during second or third shifts.

This role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, with opportunities for leadership growth in a fast-paced retail environment. You will handle POS transactions, assist customers, and help manage inventory, merchandising, and overall store

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends, holidays and second/third shifts.
• Experience in fast-paced retail or service environment preferred.
• Ability to coach and motivate a team to upsell and deliver great customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering and merchandising to keep stock.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store, including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
