Job summary

Denny's Restaurants is seeking an Assistant Manager in Tucson to oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. You will supervise 15–20 crew members, ensure adherence to brand standards for food and service, and drive the guest experience with a focus on quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

As part of the leadership team, you will assist the Restaurant Manager and General Manager, participate in selection and development of staff, and help manage costs and profitability

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail management.
• Food Safety Manager certification required.
• Proficiency in English communication (oral and written).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 15–20 crew members on assigned shifts and ensure proper kitchen and dining room execution.
• Provide guests with a great dining experience and uphold service and quality standards.
• Assist in recruiting, coaching, and developing hourly staff for high performance.
• Interpret financial and operational reports to identify gaps and improvements and protect profit margins.
