Job summary

Central Mississippi Pizza (CMS) is hiring an Assistant Manager to run shifts, support the General Manager, and lead the team to meet store goals. You will ensure high customer satisfaction, maintain brand standards, and oversee training and safety across daily operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem-solving, and effective communication to deliver a positive experience for guests and staff alike.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pass CMS Welcome to Management Courses.
• Strong communication and verbal skills.
• Outgoing with a positive, upbeat attitude.
• Stand, walk, sit, carry, use machines and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Food Safety certification as required by area.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and represent a rock-solid brand image.
• Manage the store and team with high volume mentality.
• Meet CMS service goals and train the team to achieve them.
• Lead shifts and assist the General Manager in operations.
• Ensure safety standards and handle problems as they arise.
• Operate all store equipment, including oven-tending.
• Schedule, manage labor, attendance and punctuality.
• Create a fun, friendly environment for customers and team.
• Learn marketing tools and contribute to store goals.
