Tufts University Tisch Library seeks an Assistant Manager in the Director's Office to oversee payroll administration, budgeting, facility coordination, and staff supervision. The Assistant Manager supports the administrative, financial, and operational functions of the Director's Office. This position contributes to the effective day-to-day operation of the library through payroll administration, budget support, facility coordination, staff supervision, and a range of administrative responsibilities that ensure efficient and responsive operations.
Working closely with library leadership and campus partners, the Assistant Manager, Director's Office coordinates activities across financial, facilities, and personnel functions and serves as a resource for administrative processes and operational workflows. The position supervises administrative and student employees, supports library-wide initiatives and communications, and contributes to the continuous improvement of operations.
Knowledge and experience typically acquired by:
Minimum $55,600.00, Midpoint $69,500.00, Maximum $83,400.00
Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
