Job summary

Firehouse Subs in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, guide a team, and deliver great guest experiences. You’ll partner with the Restaurant General Manager to run the restaurant, coach Shift Coordinators and Team Members, and help build future leaders.

The role emphasizes ownership, strong communication, problem solving, inventory control, and adherence to Firehouse Subs standards.

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years of leadership experience in restaurants, retail, or other fast-paced environments.
A people-first leadership mindset with strong communication and team development skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the operation by supporting daily restaurant performance and ensuring Firehouse Subs standards are met.
Deliver great guest experiences by guiding teams to provide fast, friendly service in a clean, welcoming environment.
Develop your people by coaching Hourly Shift Coordinators and Team Members, building skills, and strengthening performance.
Support profitability by managing inventory, placing and receiving orders, maintaining restaurant assets, and following cash control and security procedures.
