Job summary

Sally Beauty in Texas is seeking an Assistant Manager who will hire, develop and lead store associates to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales. You will work with the Store Manager to oversee all operations, enforce brand standards and manage schedules and payroll hours.

You'll focus on brand execution, people development, and efficient store processes, including Omni-channel fulfillment, with a commitment to diversity and inclusion and strong internal communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
• Can effectively communicate with team and management.
• Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
• Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Brand: supervise and support daily goals and activities to deliver a top client experience and drive sales/KPIs.
• People: train, develop and coach team members; recruit when needed; ensure policy adherence.
• Operations: execute company processes and digital initiatives including Omni-channel fulfillment.
• Inventory & payroll: manage stock, payroll hours, and store opening/closing procedures.
• Safety/Loss Prevention: protect assets and ensure compliance with safety and shrink controls.
