Job summary

Subway is seeking an Assistant Manager to focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory control, staff scheduling, and safety. The role also involves supporting the Shift Manager duties and coordinating events.

The position includes training on responsibilities and offers varied Full Time/Part Time shifts by location, with opportunities for hands-on restaurant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Must be an excellent communicator with the ability to deal with all levels of team members.
• Operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
• Assist in planning special events and promotions in restaurant, coordinating training as needed.
• Assist with product ordering and inventory as needed.
• Manage a staff of 4-12 and supervise assigned tasks.
• Ensure restaurant safety and cleanliness and maintain standards.
