Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Bristow, OK is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running daily drive-in operations. You will train and coach team members, ensure fast, friendly service, and uphold food safety standards to deliver a quality guest experience.

This role requires flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays. You will handle opening/closing duties, manage staffing and inventory, and contribute to a positive, safe, and efficient work environment for the SONIC

Qualifications

Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required.
Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

Manage, coach and supervise Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
Direct staff to meet all food service standards and operational goals.
Perform opening and/or closing duties for the drive-in.
Monitor staffing levels, inventory and food cost; complete weekly inventory as needed.
Maintain administrative records and documentation.
Foster a customer service mindset and respond promptly to guest requests and complaints.
