Midwood Smokehouse in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a vibrant team in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. You will partner with the General Manager to drive guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and operational excellence while upholding our authentic barbecue standards.

The role requires 2+ years of floor management, strong communication, and the ability to manage schedules, training, and costs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of floor management in a high-volume restaurant.
• Ability to lead and foster a positive, motivated team.
• Strong time management and prioritization.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work up to 52 hours per week.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Familiarity with Mecklenburg County food safety guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Support the General Manager in leading and inspiring a team of managers and hourly employees.
• Drive revenue growth, guest satisfaction, and profitability while maintaining authentic barbecue.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and local health/safety regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost-control measures.
• Contribute to hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment by overseeing sanitation and maintenance.
• Foster relationships with vendors and community partners.
• Address guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with the executive team on promotions and improvement initiatives.
