Job summary

GDLP Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager and lead daily restaurant operations, coaching Shift Leaders and team members to deliver an outstanding guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

You will help ensure food safety, inventory control, and adherence to brand standards while developing a high-performing team and preparing for future General Manager opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold others accountable.
• Reliable attendance and flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations with the General Manager.
• Coach and develop Shift Leaders and team members.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety and cleanliness to standards.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and development.
• Monitor labor, sales, inventory, and costs.
• Support profitability through strong execution.
• Lead by example and foster an inclusive culture.
• Fill in for positions as needed to support success.
