Job summary

GDLP Restaurants is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager and lead daily restaurant operations, coaching shifts and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

You will develop team members, uphold food safety and brand standards, manage scheduling, and contribute to profitability while preparing for future General Manager opportunities. This role offers growth, hands-on leadership, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude with a passion for developing others.
• Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager.
• Coach, develop, and support Shift Leaders and team members.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are consistently met.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.
• Monitor labor, sales, inventory, and controllable costs.
• Support restaurant profitability through strong operational execution.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and brand standards are followed.
• Lead by example and create a positive, inclusive team culture.
• Step into any position as needed to support restaurant success.
