Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Missouri seeks an Assistant Manager to help run daily drive-in operations and support the General Manager. You will train and supervise team members, ensure quality food, safety, and guest satisfaction, and manage open/close duties.

Flexibility with hours is required; strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to meet daily goals and foster a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry-level retail management.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to ensure food service meets standards.
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory and food cost; makes adjustments as needed.
• Completes weekly inventory as needed.
• Assists with administrative duties including records and documentation.
• Reinforces customer service focus and guest satisfaction.
• Responds to guest requests and resolves complaints with supervision guidance.
