Job summary

Dairy Queen is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead store operations under the General Manager. You will oversee inventory, scheduling, training and customer service to ensure a standout Fan experience and maintain quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, managing cash and expenses, and executing local marketing initiatives to boost sales while controlling costs. A strong restaurant leadership background is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of high volume restaurant leadership experience
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor
• Strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices
• Must be ServSafe certified

Responsibilities

• Manage entire operation of restaurant during scheduled shifts, ensuring quality, service and atmosphere meet standards
• Train and coach shift leads and crew on PRIDE systems, recipes, food safety and safety practices
• Assist GM with business planning, inventory, labor and cash control to optimize P&L
• Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat visits
• Hire, train and develop team to maintain a high-performing staff
