Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store teams and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You will drive profitable sales growth through store operations, merchandising, and talent development, in collaboration with the General Manager.

You’ll recruit and coach Brand Associates and Experts, own areas of responsibility, and ensure SOPs, omni-channel alignment, and compliance. This role requires 1–3 years in retail management, a flexible schedule, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
