Job summary

LubeZone is hiring an Assistant Manager to lead shifts, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service at our Texas fleet service center. No truck experience is required—training will cover both technician and sales aspects over 30 days.

Earn $21.00–$23.00 per hour plus sales spiffs, with potential to exceed base pay through high sales performance. Evening and weekend availability is required to align with shop needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a supervisor, shift lead, or assistant manager role in retail, automotive service, quick lube, or a similar fast-paced customer business.
• A proven record in sales hitting goals, upselling, or growing average tickets.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to calmly resolve customer problems and complaints.
• Ready to spend at least 30 to 40% of time hands-on, working on trucks in a shop environment; evenings and weekends available.

Responsibilities

• Lead your shift direct and support teammates so every service meets standards.
• Drive sales talk with drivers and fleet customers about recommended services, provide accurate quotes, and grow the average ticket the right way.
• Build customer relationships, greet drivers, keep wait times short, and resolve concerns on the spot.
• Back up the General Manager and run the location when the GM is away.
• Keep the schedule covered and track paid time off to keep bays staffed.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and report safety incidents.
• Help with inventory, stocking, and end-of-shift wrap-up.
• Work on trucks with the team for 30–40% of time, leading by example.
• 30 days of paid hands-on training covering both technician and sales sides.
