LubeZone is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a fast-paced shop team and grow the ticket average through trusted service recommendations. You will drive sales, greet drivers, manage scheduling, and back up the General Manager when needed.

Qualifications include 1+ years in a supervisory role and a proven sales track record. This full-time position offers base pay of 21–23 USD/hr plus sales spiffs, with strong growth potential and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven sales record, upselling, or growing average tickets.
• Strong communication and problem resolution skills.
• Able to work in a busy shop environment and on the floor when needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Lead shift and support teammates to meet standards and policies.
• Drive sales talks with drivers and fleet customers to grow the average ticket.
• Build customer relationships, greet drivers, reduce wait times, resolve concerns.
• Back up the General Manager when away.
• Keep schedules, track PTO and absences to ensure staffing.
• Maintain a safe, clean, healthy work environment and report safety incidents.
• Handle inventory support, stocking, work orders, end-of-shift wrap-up.
• Pitch in on the floor during busy times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Hands-on training for technicians and sales (30 days).

$21.00 - $23/hr + Sales Spiffs | Full-Time | Reports to the General Manager

Can you lead a crew, wow a driver, and close the sale? LubeZone is looking for an Assistant Manager who loves the fast pace of a busy shop and knows how to turn a 30 minute oil change into a bigger ticket. If you've crushed sales numbers before, this is where that talent pays off.

Your Pay

• $21.00 - $23.00 per hour base pay
• Sales spiffs on top of your base earn extra on the services and add-ons you sell. Strong sellers can make $10.00 more per hour on top of base rate

What You’ll Do

• Lead your shift direct and support teammates so every service meets LubeZone standards and policies
• Drive sales talk with drivers and fleet customers about recommended services, provide accurate quotes, and grow the average ticket the right way, with honest recommendations
• Build customer relationships greet drivers, keep wait times short, and resolve customer concerns and complaints on the spot
• Back up the General Manager step in to run the location when the General Manager is away
• Keep the schedule covered help build work schedules and track paid time off and absences so the bays are always staffed
• Keep it safe and clean maintain a safe, respectful, and healthy work environment, and report safety incidents right away
• Handle the details support inventory, stocking, work order accuracy, and end-of-shift wrap-up
• Pitch in on the floor jump in on services when the bays get busy
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Hands on Training training 30 days for technician and sales

What You Need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years in a supervisor, shift lead, or assistant manager role in retail, automotive service, quick lube, or a similar fast-paced customer business
• A proven record in sales hitting goals, upselling, or growing average tickets
• Strong communication skills and the ability to calmly resolve customer problems and complaints
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a shop environment and ready to jump in on the floor when it's busy

Bonus Points

• Experience with class 6, 7, and 8 semi-truck maintenance or lubrication
• Background in truck stops, fleet service, or heavy-duty parts and service sales
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, or point-of-sale systems
