Job summary

LubeZone, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a busy shop during evenings and weekends, focusing on sales growth and customer service. No truck experience is required; training covers both technician and sales skills, with hands-on practice in the bays.

You’ll report to the General Manager and help supervise staff while ensuring safety and efficiency. The role includes 30 days of paid training, the possibility to advance to General Manager, and a compensation package with hourly base

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a supervisor, shift lead, or assistant manager role in retail, automotive service, quick lube, or a similar fast-paced customer business
• Proven record in sales: hitting goals, upselling, or growing average tickets
• Strong communication skills and the ability to calmly resolve customer problems and complaints
• Ready to spend at least 30 to 40% of time hands-on, working on trucks in a shop environment
• Available to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead your shift: direct and support teammates so every service meets standards
• Drive sales: discuss services with drivers and fleet customers and provide accurate quotes
• Build customer relationships: greet drivers and resolve concerns on the spot
• Back up the General Manager: step in to run the location when away
• Keep the schedule: assist in building work schedules and tracking PTO/absences
• Keep it safe and clean: maintain a safe work environment and report incidents
• Handle the details: assist inventory, stocking, and end-of-shift wrap-up
• Work on trucks with your team: 30–40% time in bays performing services
• Learn the trucks: 30 days of paid hands-on training covering tech and sales
• Perform other duties as assigned
