Job summary

LubeZone is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a fast-paced shop team and grow the ticket average through trusted service recommendations. You will drive sales, greet drivers, manage scheduling, and back up the General Manager when needed.

Qualifications include 1+ years in a supervisory role and a proven sales track record. This full-time position offers base pay of 21–23 USD/hr plus sales spiffs, with strong growth potential and benefits.

Qualifications

1+ years in a supervisor, shift lead, or assistant manager role in retail or automotive service.
Proven sales record, upselling, or growing average tickets.
Strong communication and problem resolution skills.
Able to work in a busy shop environment and on the floor when needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Lead shift and support teammates to meet standards and policies.
Drive sales talks with drivers and fleet customers to grow the average ticket.
Build customer relationships, greet drivers, reduce wait times, resolve concerns.
Back up the General Manager when away.
Keep schedules, track PTO and absences to ensure staffing.
Maintain a safe, clean, healthy work environment and report safety incidents.
Handle inventory support, stocking, work orders, end-of-shift wrap-up.
Pitch in on the floor during busy times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Hands-on training for technicians and sales (30 days).
