Job summary

Leslie’s pool supplies is the world’s largest retailer of swimming pool supplies. The Assistant Manager supports store performance, customer service, sales plans, profitability, and merchandising objectives, leading by example to deliver excellent service.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 hourly, with compensation determined by education, experience, and market alignment. Training and development are key parts of the role, with opportunities for advancement across Leslie’s diverse divisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service or retail.
• Experience leading a team and training new staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Proficient communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, profits, payroll and expenses.
• Conducted water analysis and minor repairs as needed.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by the team.
• Identify and recruit new talent for the team.
