Tropical Smoothie Cafe is hiring Crew Members in Boise, Idaho. Earn $14–$17 per hour plus tips and join a team focused on delivering an outstanding guest experience. We’ll train you to grow from crew member to potential manager while you learn brand standards and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in the restaurant or fast-casual field required.
• Experience training & developing employees, or prior experience working at a Tropical Smoothie cafe.
• Experience providing excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house & back of the house.
• Ability to take direction from a manager and learn the skills necessary to become a manager.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Effective verbal & written communication skills.
• Maintains & exceeds customer expectations to build brand loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Coach a team to deliver an amazing customer experience using Brand tools to communicate with guests.
• Coach crew members, develop shift leads and build a fun work environment.
• Aspire to become an assistant manager by proving capabilities and leadership potential.
• Perform all cafe tasks, including cleaning and organizing when needed.

• Ability to coach crew members, develop shift leads and build a fun work environment.
• You must be the best crew member to be an assistant manager. You must know everything and be able to show everything to new crew members.
• Willing to do everything in the cafe. Especially stepping up to clean and organize when needed.
• Presents a consistent, professional image of the café & crew by maintaining all sanitation & appearance standards.

• Helps manager to executes marketing & sales programs, following appropriate guidelines.
• Works with Manager to build café sales by cultivating relationships in the business community & initiating local store marketing campaigns.
