Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to help the General Manager run daily drive-in operations. You will supervise Team Members and Carhops, train staff, ensure food safety and quality, and maintain a guest-focused service standard.

The role requires flexibility with hours, weekends, and holidays, plus prior restaurant management experience. You will monitor inventory, assist with scheduling, handle customer requests, and support administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Team Members, Carhops and Shaking Carhops; coach and monitor performance.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with employee handbook, policies and practices; maintain safety and cleanliness.
