Position: Assistant Manager in Training
Position Summary

The Assistant Manager in Training works with the General Manager to lead and develop associates and shift managers, providing an outstanding customer experience. They are expected to inspire teams to execute Mike’s Purpose and deliver on our Team Member Promise while maximizing profitability. The Assistant Manager can run the location in the absence of the General Manager.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Execute Mike’s Purpose and deliver on our Team Member Promise, modeling associate behavior and performance.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining wash quality, staffing, and handling complaints professionally.
  • Manage operations to uphold Mike’s Carwash standards, assist in achieving location goals, manage costs, inventory, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Support associate and management development, participate in hiring, training, performance reviews, and discipline processes.
  • Assist in property and equipment maintenance, complete checklists, track repairs, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Participate in a structured management training program and pursue skill development.
  • Comply with all company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule
  • Work all scheduled shifts, at least five days and 40 hours weekly, including every other weekend.
  • Capable of closing at least two nights and opening one morning weekly.
  • Work full schedule leading up to Christmas, including December 24th or 26th.
  • Ability to transfer between stores within the market.
Physical Demands

Requires communication, vision, standing, walking, occasional sitting, stooping, reaching, twisting, repetitive movements, gripping, operating controls, lifting up to 50 lbs., pulling, carrying, bending, kneeling, balancing, and infrequently climbing stairs or ladders.

Work Environment

Occasional work with machinery, outdoors in temperatures 0-100°F, alone at times, with chemicals, and wearing protective gear.
