Job summary

Palm Beach Tan in Memphis is seeking a store manager-in-training. Starting pay is $12.50 per hour plus commission, with comprehensive benefits.

The role involves leading store staff, achieving performance metrics, and delivering exceptional customer service in a wellness-focused environment. You will complete a 5-week manager-training course, interview and hire staff, manage expenses, inventory and safety, and guide the team to meet sales and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees.
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
